This is My Mum!

I took these pics of my mum last week in the hairdressers last week. She has been natural for coming up 4 years now - mostly wearing plaits and not even realising she was transitioning -I only got her to final chop her ends off maybe six months ago.
Mum never changed her routine - She just wore the braids, never changed her products (usually just petroleum based hair oils - that most blogs say avoid at all costs and she never changed her diet either. Her health wasn't very good at the time so she stopped relaxing her hair. In her relaxed days tho, her hair often broke - i remember at one time the back and edges were really broken but since she has gone natural her hair has really gone from strength to strength.
She prefers her hair in plaits because it is easier for her to manage but she went for a treatment and a trim last week and so had it straightened. It is lovely, healthy, stronger and longer than I have ever seen it in my lifetime!
