Bye Bye Summer!

Yup summers gone. Predictably we had a bit of a poo summer, infact it was never really here but it is time to welcome in the autumn season. And I thought I'd welcome it in with reasons why I love September.....

The best people were born in this month and around this time, me, my mum, beyonce hehe (need I say more) Unfortunately it is a very expensive month - lots of celebrations though which is nice.

It's not tooo cold, you still get those lovely bright days and on a lot of the days it's cardi weather rather than big full on winter coats. Which reminds me - check out this lovely cardi I just ordered

September is the time for new beginings, It is the start of new terms and I always loved that exciting time when you getting ready to start again with your new uniform, new stationary and new promises that you would actually do your essays on time, be organised and read all the suggested books :-/ September this year is also when i start my new job (ahhh excited and a lil scared all at once) and it was actually the month I got my old job (hmm is this my lucky month or what?)

September is usually the time to reap what you sow. It reminds me of harvest festivals in school and is also when we get to eat lots of the fruit from the trees in our garden. Check out our pears and plums this year! (Is it just me or can anyone else hear 'harvest for the world' or autumn in New York playing in their head lol)

Other September Highlights:

Mustard! - The colour not the condiment- always perfect for September and beyond. TV is usually good as they need new series for your to snuggle up to, BB will finish for ever (sad thing but I do love a final) Whitey is coming to visit (yay), Earth wind and fire did a song for it's namesake, The leaves on the trees look beautiful, the sky looks gorgeous and the air is sooo crisp so it is perfect for walks.
