It came to my attention the other day when someone was talking with me about a quite pricey piece of cake that I was starting to loose all concept of what is reasonable and expensive in the cake stakes!
I justify paying more by talking myself through the cute places I go to and the lovely little names they give their cakes and because I like a good cake.
Well imagine my joy the other day when I stepped into Greggs and was tempted by one of their special halloween cupcakes.
Decorated with a marble frosting full of flavour, jelly sweets and some gooey drippy sweet syrup and a sponge so soft and moist I was tempted to eat the wrapper! All this for 65p! I couldn't believe it i would usually pay three times that price!
