How To Be a Domesticated Goddess...

Someone told me that they had made an amazing cake with this recipe book and they had yet failed to try a recipe from it that they hadn't like.

I thought perfect! I have to have this... and it has also kept its retail price and not gone down which shows it's still in demand (so should some how equate to it being good) but...... then I read some of the reviews... It seems like Nigella is not very good with her quantities and her baking times (two things that you would think need to be essential when you are baking- surely?)

I am gonna look out for it second hand or buy it if I see it in the sale, and until then I might try out a few of Nigella's recipes online. I need to make some cakes for a meet up thing I am going to this week. So I think I will start simple and make some Coconut Macaroons- (Even if they do look a little pale in the picture) I love a good Macaroon mmm with some drizzled chocolate on would be lovely!
