I went to see a Raisin the sun at the Royal Exchange last weekend. I really enjoyed it.... I loved the play, the acting was very good and it's themes are still relevant today. It's one of those plays that you can enjoy across generations - I wasn't able to take my parents but I did play them the DVD version I had (the 2nd film version- I have never managed to see the original) They really enjoyed it - it makes a good sunday afternoon choice of movie but seeing it live was a good experience too - the chances to see plays like this don't come around that often.
