Manhattanchester...

I was thinking of ways to decorate my new office/crafty space on the cheap as it was looking nice but a little bit naked and I started with the entrance....

I hand stitched a 28 St Subway sign for over my door because... well... I miss going in and out of that station and seeing the sign.

It isn't particularly a lovely station- I've seen a few rats there and I can't decide whether I saw more craziness here or 34th street?!?! - Both gave me a lot of "only in New York Moments" and I guess some of the craziness rubbed off on me as I am sewing up subway signs (or is that just sadness hehe)

Anyway I was much more productive - craftily when I was working around 28th and much, much, much more inspired.. so here's hoping when I enter my workspace under my own 28th Street sign I can get a little of that 'special something' back.
