Handmade Christmas

The first of Kirstie's Handmade triple bill was on last night... I do love Kirstie and her million and one coats. I wish I had a lovely cottage to decorate.. actually a bog standard house of my own would do right now... or maybe a shed...
But I do live somewhere and that needs decorating... It's not as exciting and more like a chore when it's your mum and dad's house but the bloggysphere has more than enough crafty ideas to give Kirstie a  run for her money...

Christmas Tree Garland with Tutorial here

I know that these are a bit spring/summery but surely if I used Christmassy colours this could be an excuse to make and hang some paper floral pom pomy things. Tutorials can be found here and here.

Maybe if I had enough patience and if my windows weren't soo big I would make these beautiful snowflake curtains.

Giant white craft stick snowflakes

And who knew you could make such lovely decorations from lollipop/crafty sticks

If my crochet was up to anything I would try one of these

 Something for the tree perhaps?

Ruffly Felt Rosette Wreath

This would definitely be a treat for the door...
but
Maybe I will just stick to something simple for the presents (tutorial here)

Gosh this list could be endless... and there is loads of lists out there of beautiful, cute and crafty things to make (I love this one)
Thank goodness there is a Christmas every year... yup by the time i'm about 80! I will have this beautiful handmade christmas thing down!
