Taking the "I'm An Open Book" Phrase Literally

Wow Monday is such a goodnight to blog... Lots of easy viewing on the T.V and I haven't got any of my other commitments... (Apart from my book which I have not quite warmed to yet) November is a busy month so maybe I shall make Monday my set blogging day.

I realised I would be too busy to even attempt to write a novel this month... so no NaNoWriMo for me, especially as Mum and I brought more wool and knitting patterns, I have Auntie responsibilities and I totally forgot I booked onto a winter crochet course in Summer!

But as I don't have to write a book, I will make time to meet a book. This month Unison and Withington Library - Manchester, are running a project called 'Living Books.' A wide selection of people are available to tell you their story- whether it's about their background, lifestyle, religion, employment, identity or all of these mixed into one! It's supposed to challenge prejudices, invite discussion and will also just allow people to hear interesting stories.

So if you're in Manchester and free - drop in from 3pm to 6.30pm on Monday the 16th of Nov and pick the person you'd would like to have a one to one with. If you're not in Manchester maybe check if they are doing one of these are your local library as they are doing living libraries/living books throughout the UK.

For more information you can call and speak to any of the library staff on 0161 227 3720.

O.K That's my plug done! :-), I'll let you know who I meet.
