I love It When Things Come Together...

Thing 1:

When I saw the knitted poem project a while back I really wanted to get involved. The idea was anybody who wanted to could knit a letter ( the letters were dished out by the organisers) and they would all be put together to create a secret poem.

When I finally got round to doing a bit of knitting practice and got in touch with the organisers it would have given me 2 days to knit an 'R' and I couldn't live up to the challenge (dayum)

Thing 2:

Also earlier on in the year as part of the Manchester family friendly Film Festival... they were doing a screening in an old swimming baths near me... It was restored but is no longer used as a swimming baths. Instead it opens at selected times of the year for events and arty occasions and I have always wanted to take a nosey inside but I missed the screening (double dayum)

But now these two things have come together...

The complete knitted poem is on a UK tour and it stops in Manchester this Sunday the 22nd.
