I hate it when I go to the library/bookshop and totally forget the mamooth list of reccommendations and "must reads" I have in my head. (I do it in video shops too) I went into the shop the other day and stared gormlessly at the shelf- only to find a list of 20 books i wanted to read in my old moleskin- tut.
This one seems to have gathered quite a lot of praise recently so I think I will add it to the list.
It's The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows.
Will let you know what I think if and when I read and if you read it before me let me know if it's worth a look?
