My stairs... to be

I am thinking more and more these days about different ways to decorate your stairs instead of bog standard wood or carpet.

No I don't have a house but it pays to think about these things early so that when I actually own a house when I'm 65 or something I have more than a mental note of my thoughts and ideas.

I have this book on homemade ideas I got few years ago and it shows how you can cover your stairs with mirror mosaics- interesting but not quite my thing.

I also loved the kirsty's homemade showwhere she used mosaic tiles on the stairs, but it takes a certain kind of house ( a big lovely one) or some steps in Brazil to carry off lovely mosaic tiles.

Today I came across these wall papered stairs on a blog-I think I got my stairs idea down... Bring on my lovely house... You are all invited for tea! (when I get a house that is)
