Progress

OK I don't have my study/creative space down yet but i am making progress I now have somewhere to sit! whoop whoop!
I found this chair under some rubble in my cellar and transformed it with a lick of old paint and a lovely paisley fabric. I still have some more of the fabric left and am thinking about what to do with it....hmmmmm?

I am very excited about decorating my own new place in the house - my rules are the contents in it are recycled, refurbed or reduced and i'm doing ok at the moment - that's what living on a budget does to you. It's only a tiny box room but it will be my box room and hopefully it will open the door to masses of creativity and learning.

Funny that how you always think one thing will lead to something else great - new job will make me super chic and organised, new rountine will give me the will power to go on a diet, new room will make me an amazing seamstress - it's that simple

I am reading.... Q & A by Vikas Swarup

Today I just brought a new book- Q and A by Vikas Swarup. I prefer to read the book then watch the movie but I was recommended this before the movie came out and just couldn't find it. I haven't started it yet and probably won't for a couple of days but I will let you know how i am getting on.

Starting all over again!

So I am not the only one who has started one blog and left them to dwindle away or thought they could manage two blogs at once and ended up neglecting both.

Since my old blog was about me in New York (nattybumbum in nyc) I have decided to start a fresh and drop my beloved NYC from the title.

It is a shame as I had soo many things that I wanted to share on that blog but ho hum blogger is not letting me export it anyways welcome to the world the Nattybumbum blog!
